A strong economy is the key to quality of life. Our goal is to significantly reinforce our economy in three layers: the economy of the family and farm, reinforcement of the settlements, and the council’s financial durability.

With this goal in mind, we are working on development of small and medium-sized enterprises based on local tourism.

We encourage and assist the expansion of current tourism enterprises  such as wineries, oil presses, and artistic activities

We are focused on development of industry and commerce promotion of small business, and development of sophisticated .industries combining private enterprise with government resources

The council’s budget for 2010 is NIS 230 million.
