Moshe Dadon Council Mayor
The Mate Yehuda Municipality includes a vast and varied "human mosaic" that enables opportunities for development in the region as well as a process of expansion of villages within the municipality.
The desirable geographic location in central Israel enables us to define goals and ways of achieving them, with a special emphasis on protecting the "green" nature of the area and blending into the natural surroundings.
Mate Yehuda nation is the home to approximately 46,000 residents and many tourists. We, the employees and elected officials of the municipality, pledge to do our upmost to protect this part of the country and work towards it's development by creating and providing professional and effective programs and services. "The resident is the customer" - this is the basis of the leadership and process of change that Mate Yehuda is going through now and into the future. In many aspects this reality presents us with the unique and interesting challenge to create a piece of the country that is central to the general area.
As a municipality we set the goal of protecting the landscape and villages, developing quality and unique tourism, building a leading social and educational system and strengthening the local and regional community.
I am certain that with the integration of the strengths of the people and good dialogue between residents and administrators, we will attain this goal.
